Culture and Beliefs
The Gospel of Jesus not only brings us into true intimacy with God but empowers us as His followers to speak into the brokenness of humanity found in our communities, neighborhoods, and our world today.
The Gospel is not limited by culture, language, demographic, or location. We enter in, and become a part of, the community around us–knowing that we are a small part of this greater mission that gives life purpose and fulfillment.
As humans, we crave safe and simple answers that give us comfort rather than searching for God in the discomfort. To say God will never allow something puts our faith in a box. Neither doubting nor fanatical, but always securely biblical, we trust that God is still in the business of shaking things up and doing something new; we avoid giving easy answers to complicated questions.
We are grounded by a dependence on and leading of the Holy Spirit as the one who empowers us to serve, lead, and invite people into a community and culture full of His Love, Grace, and Truth.
“We enter in, and become a part of, the community around us–knowing that we are a small part of this greater mission that gives life purpose and fulfillment.”
